As in 2009, 2010 and 2011 SolPEG exibited two posters at the 27th Photovoltaic Solar Energy Symposium in Bad Staffelstein. The posters will be available here soon.

In context of the 5. Woche der Energie SolPEG is invited to hold a lecture on the 1. Hamburger Photovoltaik-Expertenforum. Subject: Yield analysis from the perspective of an expert. The forum will meet on 11.11.2010 in the auditorium of the HAW, Berliner Tor 21, in Hamburg. Lecture will start at 10:15 AM. Further information can bee found here (german).

SolPEG was selected to do a poster presentation at the 24. PVSEC (European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference) in Hamburg. The poster can be viewed here.

SolPEG will support the European DoSIE (downstream services in energy) project as a test-user. The project aims to increase the availability and quality of energy-meteorological data. It is assisted within the KOPERNICUS program of the European Commission and the European Space Agency (ESA).

This week a delegation from Cyprus with menmbers of industry, academia and politics has been informed about the use of renewable energies in Germany. Occasion is a recently adopted renewable energy law in Cyprus. During a seminar in Aachen SolPEG presented the topics engineering, planning, simulation and promotion of photovoltaic systems to the participants.

SolPEG will contribute a case study on irradiation sources to the "Handbook of Best Practices" for the European MESoR (Management and Exploitation of Solar Resource Knowledge) project. The handbook will be published in February 2009. For more information: www.mesor.net
